Haha! The third book might take longer to finish because theres a lot more chapters in it and also chapters with different POV's from the other characters. But I'm aiming for November maybe a bit sooner than that but we'll see!

The Small Town series was just a thought I had in my head. That's it!
The plot for Chasing the Omega came into my mind when I was walking alone to the shop.
(This wasn't an odd thing because I've always loved telling stories to myself).
While I was walking to the shop that's a 5 minute walk to my house, I was thinking about a teen girl who one night gets bitten by a wolf.
From then on, a story started to develop and 1 book later I've started writing a series.
And I still can't believe it myself.

I was literally on my way to the supermarket which is like a five minute walk from my house and thought about a girl who one night gets mysteriously bitten by a wolf.
I didn't think much of it really considering I've always been a person who loves telling stories, but for some reason the plot of 'Chasing the Omega' stuck in my head for such a long time that I knew that it had to be written.

To answer your question, I think my course did help me with my writing skills especially when I was writing 'Chasing the Beta.'
When I was reading plays and reading from scripts in college, I learnt to stretch the length of the conversation in a way to make it longer, if that makes sense.
When I read back 'Chasing the Omega,' some of the conversations in it aren't as long and informative as 'Chasing the Beta.' I think that's why Book 2 is my favorite of the two, but hopefully Book 3 will be as enjoyable to write as the second book.

Interesting question.
Even though I've written a book, it still hasn't sunk in that I am an author, but I've got a long way to go to become an author who inspires other aspiring writers.
I studied drama in college for 3 years because I thought my future would be in theater, but by my second year, I realized that acting wasn't my passion, I didn't feel happy when I thought theater would be my future.
As I was writing my first book, I knew this wouldn't be a great piece of work because the books that are written by my idols are amazingly written, descriptive and are at a high standard. I knew my book couldn't compare to theirs, but that didn't stop me from getting my story out.
I believe that everyone can write a story, whether it's a short story or a 400 page story. The things that our minds come up with is just unbelievable, and you're going to have people who either love your book or don't, but don't let things like that discourage you, because in the end you can say that you've written a book. By yourself.
Arisa, if you have a story in your head, plan it and start your journey because there's thousands of people out there who look for new books to read. Yours will be one of them.

I'm currently working on 'Chasing the Beta' which is Book 2 of the Small Town series. It will be released the end of this month, or the start of August. I've got a lot of free time on my hands, so I'm writing as much I can everyday.

I'm a really unmotivated person, but what kept me determined to write a book was to prove to other people that I could do it.
Writing a book is not easy, it's time-consuming and frustrating, but it's an incredible feeling when you've completed the book.
You can do it! Just don't give up because you can do it!
