I am not a writer by trade so not sure if another book will present itself. Roses and Radicals came out of the desire to learn this story and be a part of the 100th Anniversary of Women Winning the Right to Vote Celebration.

Roses and Radicals was inspired by a story I read in the newspaper about ten years ago about the " Forgotten Movement"- Women's Suffrage. It spoke about the centennial (100) year anniversary in 2020 of women winning the right to vote. I could not understand how I could not have known this as I was an elected official and a women's activist. I was determined to learn their story. And Rose and Radicals : The Epic Story of How Women Won The Right To Vote is their story.

My day job is working for New York State in fighting hunger , so I am not a full time writer. However, writing Roses and Radicals was a dream come true.
I loved researching the stories of the suffragists and learning so much about these brave women. They inspired me. It was an honor to help spread their story.
