How do you get inspired to write?

Susan Zimet Roses and Radicals was inspired by a story I read in the newspaper about ten years ago about the " Forgotten Movement"- Women's Suffrage. It spoke about the centennial (100) year anniversary in 2020 of women winning the right to vote. I could not understand how I could not have known this as I was an elected official and a women's activist. I was determined to learn their story. And Rose and Radicals : The Epic Story of How Women Won The Right To Vote is their story.
