Whatever happened to my good friend M. We were really close in college at the Australian National University. He was a complex person, but one of the smartest people I ever met. He indulged in drugs and died of an overdose.

I just finished "You're not broken: 5 steps to become superconscious and activate your magic" by Christopher Duncan. It has changed my life!

The Land of Oz. I would have high tea with Glinda the Good Witch.

She tightened her grip on his throat as he took his last breath, then turned and howled at the moon. The world would have one less sadistic human in its midst tonight.

Now that's a big question! For some it might only be a few months of writing, editing and going through the publishing process. For me, I wrote a series of columns as "Ask Sharon" for The Area News over the period of a year, so 52 columns. Then when I realised the material covered topics that many people are interested in–relationships, work, money, health, wellbeing and happiness–I put that into a book. It would take me another year to edit the book (in between being full time mother and domestic goddess) and then it was published. The index alone took me three months to create! My book, Healing from the Heart, is 147 pages long and was published with Balboa Press.

One of my GDG's – Grand Dream Goals, as my friend and author Kurek Ashley refers to, is to help others pursue their dreams of becoming published. If you've had a desire to be a published author for a long time and that dream comes true, like it did for me, that feeling is indescribable. Which is ironic for a writer! Don't hold back, stare down your fears and think about how you'd feel if you didn't get to achieve this – use that as your inspiration to make it happen. The time is now. As I posted on my website, "to anyone who is considering writing a book, the first thing I would say is, it's not for the faint-hearted. The second thing I would say is go for it!"

A book to connect with, inspire and uplift mothers. As a mother of two children I have encountered many of the aspects of the motherhood journey - the lows (tantrums, demands, fatigue), but also the highs (affection, laughter, fun) and even the mundane in between. Like many mothers, I've experienced the anxieties, doubts, and a feeling of a loss of identity and freedom. While this new book aims to include a healthy balance of tears and laughter inherent of the rollercoaster that is motherhood, it intends to be transformative. It lets others know that they're not alone in their struggles, but that there are also solutions. I'll be providing simple hints, habits, mindsets and strategies that helped me navigate the early years of parenting in the hope that others can breathe a little easier and experience more joy.

As I alluded to in one of my previous answers, the inspiration for writing comes at all times of the day and night. It could come while I'm cooking, in the shower, playing with the kids, or half asleep. But over the years I have noticed a pattern. When I am most relaxed is when the words readily flow. My feeling is that when we are relaxed we are in that state of allowance, mentally we are not cluttered with thoughts about what we have to do, we are just being, and therefore receptive. If I ever have to sit down and complete a piece of writing for a deadline or client (as a copywriter), I will put on some soothing music (like Adele or Ben Lee) and diffuse some essential oils for clarity.

I've explained my love of writing to my husband in this way: "Writing to me is like breathing, I can't not do it." It might sound dramatic, but any writer will be able to vouch for the exhilaration they get from writing – it's a passion. It gives me purpose and my life meaning. And it gives me a legacy. As I've said to my children, long after I'm gone, my writing will still be around and hopefully impacting people's lives in a meaningful way. On the back of my business card and as the opening quote in my book I have the following words by John F. Demartini (author of "The Riches Within"): "What a gift it is to receive one simple idea that can transform your life forever!" That's the best thing about being a writer.

Fortunately (and sometimes unfortunately), I have the opposite to writer's block. I receive so many messages and tidbits of writing that the challenge for me (with two young children ), is to allocate the time to polish those pieces and put them into meaningful forms such as blogs and books. Many of the ideas behind my answers to the questions featured in "Messages from the Heart" came in the middle of the night so I would email myself under the covers so as to not wake my husband! I suppose having an abundance of content instead of the dreaded writer's block is a good problem to have, so I shouldn't complain.

As weekly columnist 'Ask Sharon' for "The Area News", I was responding to a range of questions from the public about money, work, relationships, health and wellbeing. I would respond to the questions using my Reiki practitioner and Angel Intuitive experience by consulting angel and oracle cards and self-help principles and philosophies – which I had tried and tested. Due to the positive reaction from the community, I felt inspired to create a collection of the columns in book form, and so "Messages from the Heart: 39 Answers to YOUR Life Questions" was created.
