(view spoiler)[Hi Simon, I've just read through all 6 of the Sir Jamie books, and I loved them all. My favourite character was Cristo. Just a thought for a book....could you do a prequel with Cristo's beginnings as an assassin? That would be brilliant.
And I just realised my profile picture is Ste. Catherine and Jehanne Darc in Domrémy! My user name also reveals my allegiance to the Maid!
Best wishes, John (hide spoiler)]

Hi John, first of all apologies I have trouble getting into Goodreads to this part from time to time so am poor at getting back to readers on this platform. However thank you so much for taking the trouble to write to me.
On your question, no sadly at the moment I do not. The closest in the second Condottieri book, The Fight for Florence, which features his younger sister, Simona Corio and I had great fun writing her part of the story. I ahd not thought of a Cristo story, but teh problem I have in that regard is that all my stories ar based in or on facts, as sson as I deviate it is not well recievd with my readership e.g. my Condottieri stores which are only partly or loosely fact based. And as it takes so much time and cost to produce a book, it is sadly not worth my while.
I have just released a prequel for Jamie called AKAS 1403 culminating in the Battle of Shrewsbury. Although sadly not many reader seem interested in a prequel, which is a pity as this was a story I desperately wanted to write. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Knight-Spy-1...
I do intend to write a sequel set in 1424, but again I need to see how 1403 is received.
Thank you.
Best,
Simon

Ah just found out how to find and answer your question!! Duh not the most technically gifted! :)
Yes, don't worry there will be a 1415 it is what it is all building to as I am sure you have gathered. Just finishing the 2nd in the western series and the start research (well carry on really already started bits and pieces) in earnest on 1415.
Off to France in September to visit, Harfleur and Agincourt itself. Which should be great fun and very revealing. I have already interviewed at length Dr Tobias Capwell former curator of the Wallace collection, reenactor and expert on the period of the 100 years war, which was fun and very enlightening.
Then doing a weekend with the HEMA Exiles in Cheltenham in October, which should be good fun as well as interesting.
Thank you for taking the time to write. If all goes to plan I should be publishing either late Nov or early 2024, but too early to put an exact date on it yet as too much to coordinate.
Best,
Simon

I too was confused thinking that the series would end in 1414, because that is what it says somewhere (it could have been Amazon? Not sure). Anyway, just finished 1415, fantastic. Can we expect a 1416, I want this to go on until at least 1456.

I am very lucky as I can 'just write'. I love it and would rather write than watch a film or tv. I can write anywhere, on a train, in a room of people, or at my desk. I write in my head whilst walking, running or swimming and have to rush back to get the thoughts down.

A Knight and a Spy 1411, the second in my medieval series. It will continue with the adventures of Jamie de Grispere and his two friends taking them into another exciting and eventful year in English history. As ever the research is everything and I'v found some fascinating sources for research.
