I got hooked on the new series, starting with the Ninth Doctor Christopher Eccleston. Rose Tyler is brilliant as she struggles with overpowering mother and boyfriend.
If I have to choose one Doctor, it would be the Eleventh, Matt Smith. As the youngest of all, the energy he brings in the series is incredible. The Eleventh Doctor’s series weaves the past, present, and future in an intricate knot and is the best one IMO. And who doesn’t like a bow tie and a fez? ;)
My favorite companion is…gosh, that’s a hard choice. Between Martha, Donna and Amy, I’ll take Donna Noble. Just because the way she says her Oi! in her typical accent. She is so feisty and yet so empathetic. The episode when she cries at the death and torture of the Oods is what I remember the most (and the one when she hangs above a taxi in her wedding dress!).
What I like about Doctor Who is the fast pace and the speculative aspect. What if you could go back to the past and future? Let the young imagination ponder. After all, they are geared to children 8+. Anything to get children interested in science is a bonus.
Ah, looking forward to the next Doctor. A first with a woman Doctor I’ve heard. This should be so good!

Daydream. You know when you finish a movie or a book and you go: it could have a different ending? You wish the character didn’t do that, it could’ve been such and such? Annoying as it may be, I have always questioned or imagined different scenarios. Having ideas is the first step but not enough, as you may know. Weaving them in a story is a different thing. I read dozens of How-to-write books. I learned structuring, scene-writing, and the dreaded editing.
People have always told me: your head is in the clouds. Finding the right words to share my daydream, seeing imagined scenes and dialogue on paper, and sharing ideas with a reader are all inspiring indeed.

Writer's block = my imaginary characters refuse to talk to me.
Find out what works best for you. I tried baking but since my heart wasn’t into it, everything was a disaster! I tried taking a walk but ended up imagining new scenes and dialogues for another book (rather than solving the current ones!). Now I watch movies and it works for me -my absolute favorites are the Matrix, Doctor Who (can't wait to pick up series 10!) & Guardians of the Galaxy (Groot is the best!). Movies are structured. They have a beginning and an end and turning points in the middle. And movies are over in about two hours. My ‘block’ occurs usually because I haven’t taken the time to plan or am tired or overwhelmed as we all are at some point in time.

I'm so glad you picked up Cursed Legacy! Yes, this is the first book I've published so far. I'm working on getting book 2 out by end of September. I welcome any comments you may have :))
