Several years ago, I participated in a flash fiction writing challenge. The challenge was to select a title from a list of titles and write story. I chose the title "Life in Snowglobia." It was not only the inspiration for having snow globes that opened portals, but it was also the original title of the book. Thanks for asking, Allen.

I'm very much still a kid at heart who views everything through the lens of my faith. Inspiration often comes while examining the details around me or reading science articles. The stories I'm working on now, while they have branched off in different directions, initially grew from one seed - an ordinary object that revealed a universe of possibility.
