What was your inspiration for the Snow Globes being the key to your portals?

K.A. Cummins Several years ago, I participated in a flash fiction writing challenge. The challenge was to select a title from a list of titles and write story. I chose the title "Life in Snowglobia." It was not only the inspiration for having snow globes that opened portals, but it was also the original title of the book. Thanks for asking, Allen.
