I guess keep writing, about anything. It also helps me to read. I find that when I read Mark Helprin, for example, I can't help but want to write. I've even had to avoid his books when I am not in the mood, or prepared to write, because I feel compelled to write when I enter his prose.

Ha, not actually sure yet. Seeing my name on a list with authors I've admired my whole live is pretty mind boggling.

The usual one you see, I guess; WRITE! Always and keep at it.

I think it was from reading a lot and wanting to spread my stories, my fantasies and dreams, like the authors I was reading. My mind has always exploded with ideas, sometimes I see a street scene and think about how I'd write about it, and I have always enjoyed building stories. I hope that makes sense.

Book two of the longmeadow's series. I expect it will be three books. the tentative title is 'the Thracian Goblet'.

That's a difficult question. I was looking around for a young adult book to read, along the lines of a harry potter, and the ones I found were, in my opinion, so poorly written that I couldn't get past a few pages. I decided that I wanted to write a better one, one that I would want to read. Then I just sat down and started to write, about some of the places I had been, about teens and what I hoped real relationships are like, and it just took shape. I have always loved books and the idea of the longmeadow's probably came first. It just took shape after that. I have to admit that I have spent more time outlining the next one.
