I enjoy fantasy and science fiction stories. My inspiration comes from many sources, such as Maximum Ride, Jurassic Park and the movie Gattaca. I was fascinated to read about real-life hybrid animals–a mouse that tweets like a bird, cats and other animals that glow in the dark. Granted, they weren't as exciting as they sounded. But it made me think about how and why humans could be engineered, as well as the moral and ethical consequences. CHRSTOFR was my exploration of the subject.

The best thing about writing is getting to live vicariously through my characters. Reading allows you to live hundreds of lifetimes, and experience things ordinarily out of reach. But writing empowers you to choose those experiences and take others with you.

I am currently working on a Y/A Science Fiction novel about genetic engineering. I hope to be able to publish some time in June 2019.
