Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

K. Tibbetts I enjoy fantasy and science fiction stories. My inspiration comes from many sources, such as Maximum Ride, Jurassic Park and the movie Gattaca. I was fascinated to read about real-life hybrid animals–a mouse that tweets like a bird, cats and other animals that glow in the dark. Granted, they weren't as exciting as they sounded. But it made me think about how and why humans could be engineered, as well as the moral and ethical consequences. CHRSTOFR was my exploration of the subject.
