The Wheel of Time Series. I think that's plenty for the whole summer haha

I'd go to Hogwarts and study magic!

Yes, absolutely. I’m planning at least 6 :)

Hey! Sorry for the delayed response, I missed the email :)
I think it would be fine for a sixteen year old.
There is no explicit sex (there is one steamy moment in one book, but stops before it turns into sex).
There is a fair amount of cussing. If you look at the sample chapters of Borrowed Magic, you can see how it's sprinkled throughout. The Misift Series has less cursing, but it's not free of it.
There is violence, some of it fairly graphic, but not overdone IMO.

I don't believe in writer's block as some kind of mystical wall you can't get around. If you can't write there are a few likely issues:
1. The story is boring. You've lost interest as the writer. Change something and spice things up to regain interest. The readers will be bored if you are :)
2. Distractions. This is a big one. It's *easier* to watch tv, read, or nap than it is to write. Break the cycle and get back to work.
3. Don't rely on feeling inspired. The days that I planted myself in front of my laptop and refused to stop writing even though I was only getting out a hundred words in an hour were often the days I ended up having a breakthrough. Be tenacious. Creating something is hard work, and requires you to fight through the slow days.
4. Lack of self-confidence. This is a hard one. Publishing a story is scary, especially because it will never be perfect. I still struggle with this, but like the previous point, you just have to push through. My Tae Kwon Do instructor once told me during a sparring session that I could cry as long as I didn't stop fighting. Then he kicked me in the gut. That's how it is as an author some days. Cry and type.
Also, never stop learning. I blocked the next kick ;)

Finish something. Anything. I got my start by writing a Harry Potter fanfic during NaNoWriMo, and finishing a book during that month gave me the confidence to do it all over again :D
(you can find the fic on archiveofourown under littleredtepheee if you're interested. It's not great, but it changed everything for me.)

My head is always in the clouds. The issue I have is that I'm always being inspired to write something new, when I need to finish the book I've already started :P

I'm currently working on an urban fantasy series focusing on shifters. The world will be packed full of all sorts of magical creatures though, including witches, demons, trolls, and pixies :)
