Hi Jim. As far as the Book Award Contests go, I have my reservations. But am very happy with their response to my request for a review of "Ifflepinn Island." The review came back three weeks before I expected it. And although they seem to have a large body of reviewers, I think they are also training up fledgling reviewers, as the review missed out on or two obvious points regarding the essence of the story. However, as soon as I suggested better phrasing, to my astonishment, they immediately contacted the reviewer and got her insert the changes. That is unprecedented service! I was also astonished by the speed of their responses. So, all in all, I think it is a great resource.

That force which is governing the universe pushes me to spill out what it wishes me to write. I can take no credit for that.

Having experienced an unexpected awakening by the advent of Cosmic Consciousness at the age of twenty-four, I spent the rest of my life consolidating the knowledge I was given, studying every kind of spiritual path available among dervishes, yogis, Tibetans, Hindus, Sikhs, Zen masters and so forth. Over half a century I have been teaching workshops in spiritual development without cultish trappings, and the questions of sincere students have resulted in these in-depth inspirational writings, which explain mystical subjects that most books and teachers gloss over for lack of experience.

And now, for something completely different, I am working on a quirky 110-year-old American children's classic, updating its old-fashioned style in order to entertain children in Britain today. It's a chapter book about the adventures of the animals of the wood and meadow, which first charmed me when I was six years old. It is suitable for ages 5-10.
You will meet Old Mother West Wind and her children the Merry Little Breezes, Grandfather Frog, Johnny Chuck the Groundhog, Billy Brock the Badger, Sly Reddy Fox, Sneezle the Weasel, Jimmy Skunk, Pee-Tee Rabbit the prankster, and a host of other memorable characters from a world gone by. The book is completely rewritten in a lyrical style and will contain 22 completely new illustrations by yours truly. It's a Bedtime Story book that begs to be read aloud.
