So far, I am always inspired by my dreams. Something people may find very strange is that once I am writing every day, and my mind is in that writing mode, I often dream about certain characters and I can ask them questions in my dream. They tell me what their motivation may have been, and what they may have been thinking when they did or said certain things. I've found that if I follow my dreams very closely, the story comes out better and feels truer.

I'm currently working on a few different books. One is a sequel to "A Glimpse Beyond The Aether". I will soon be finished with another science fiction / romance novel entitled: "Breaching The Sentry". I'm also working on a full length story for older kids.

It's so hard to find a publisher to read your book and see the potential it has to interest others. I would say, don't give in to self-publishing. I understand this act of desperation, but I found it to be very unsatisfying. If you're not getting any interest in your manuscript, wait six months, and try again.

It is very satisfying to be a writer and to have people moved or effected by what you say. To me, every character is special and important. If someone else understands a characters motives, or feels moved by what they're going through, that's really awesome to me.

So far I don't have any writer's block. I wrote several children's books. I woke up with these little rhythms in my head. I soon learned that the only way to stop thinking about these rhythms was to write them down. Then and only then could I get any other work done.
The same happens with my 'adult' stories. I dream about these characters and it's as if they want me to tell their story.
Sometimes I can't get the ideas on the paper fast enough because it's like these characters are in my head and telling me what to say,

This book is actually based on a dream I had quite a while ago. This dream was incredibly detailed. It even included several of the names of my characters.
Shortly after the dream, I wrote the first few chapters. I had to do that so I could clear my head of the dream.
Then later on I could work on the book as I got the time.
