She twisted the door handle when she heard deep breathing inside the nursery. Her baby cried out as the silhouette disappeared through the window seal, into a rainy dark wood.

I've always written here and there throughout my life. It could've been small journal entries or 5-10 page stories but generally, I started writing short stories (80-120 pages) five years ago. Recently finished my first full-size novel. I'd say to write what you know and feel instead of what you THINK you should write. Ultimately your soul and life experience is the only content you can ever write from so always remember to write from your own truth and senses. Also, read from authors you'd like to learn from and are inspired from. And most of all WRITE! Writing is like any other skill. A professional guitarist would play one chord probably a thousand times before he could play it without thinking! Every time you sit down and write you're advancing your soul and skill. I hope this helps Sara and thank you so much for contacting me. God bless and good luck with your writing career.

Hi Sara, thanks for contacting me. I would say make sure your ready to do everything on your own. I'm assuming you're talking about self-publishing. Also, I would start building a fanbase before you release your books. If you are referring to traditional publishing houses i'd say to double-check the contract or get someone else to go over it with you and make sure you observe the production process so you don't end up with a product, unlike the one you wrote. And of course, go over and edit the book so you don't have to later. God bless.

My latest release is a Romcom Called "Now You Know" which originated from observing love and friendship. The world of love and how it literally makes no sense in the physical world. I wanted to go beyond the daydream of perfect relationships and dive into the Jealous needy sides of love. The torture of not knowing the truth. The change in personality and mood around the special person. And most importantly the way love can teach you so much so unexpectedly.
Jealousy, separation anxiety, confusion, anger, intimacy, and the fear of misinterpreting feelings, linger throughout the book.

Usually, it's unexpected. An actor could inspire me with their personality. A split second moment on a soap drama could spark something in me. Usually what gets me pumped to write is soulful actions. Whether it's a movie scene or even an advert. An element of soul wins me over every time and more than likely will be implemented into my book. Also, metaphors and cool "quote like" sentences can inspire an entire book.

A family Drama called "Ordinary View" based in a country estate in Kent England. The characters deal with everyday situations like love, school, siblings, marriage, jealousy and the consequence of acting out of fear or paranoia. I want the book to shine a light on everyday situations while dramatizing them in a way that keeps you reading on.

Keep writing! Most likely your first book won't be your favorite. Like anything, you have to practice it several times to get the muscle memory working. In terms of writing, constantly creating scenarios or concepts will improve your ability to imagine and create more exactly. Also, try and write from what inspires you. Watch people and learn to observe more.

Your able to create your own universe, literally! Being a writer enable's you to learn, grow, understand and be empathic. Whatever the topic or genre or situation your writing about, will somehow affect you. You become those characters. You feel what they fell. You see what they see. It's also fun to be able to create scenes and concepts the manifest them onto paper. Most of all you unexpectedly deal with your issues. A lot of times being a writer is Being in the sub-conscious mind which holds everything. You may notice many unexpected healings and spiritual benefits from writing even a single page!

I take time to live life again, read books and be spontaneous. I usually don't get writer's block because the stories I write mainly come from life experiences, and people. For me, writers block usually means the story isn't suppose to be completed yet because your soul hasn't experienced enough to conclude it, the story is already at the end of the road, or your simply not passionate about that project to get it done. My favourite books to write (All of them) have been easy to to finish because i was so inspired and held that birthing inspiration during the entire process.
