Like always, too many things! But right now, I have some story ideas that are floating bout in my head which I'm looking to take the next step further and develop. One of which is a reimagining of a story that took a rather different form a couple of years ago...if I say anymore then people will be nosy!

Being a writer allows me to get all of the crazy ideas out of my head and down onto paper or Word document in a way that I want it to flow. Although I've dabbled in many creative outlets I've always come back to writing as I find the whole process incredibly therapeutic when I buckle down. Writing was a big part of me trying to discover who I was and what I wanted to do with my life and certainly helped me in dark points at my life; I was able to use the story ideas I had as distractions.

I spent a lot of my teenage years being engrossed in science fiction in all types of forms and a lot of what definitely played an influence on Ascension. I was also severely bullied from a very young age and because I have such an active imagination I would often imagine that I had superpowers and I'd use them to get revenge on the people who bullied me; this is what eventually formed the very basic idea of Ascension but it was all of the sci fi books, films, graphic novels that really made it into the book that it is.
