I plan to have a local launch in Asheville, NC on the publication date, as well as a few signings in the months that follow.
My publisher, Inkshares, will take care of bookstore placement and a press release will be circulated to various outlets. ARCs are in the process of being printed, and will be shared in the coming weeks.
I also share updates on my twitter account (@JCastleWrites), and will plan to host a Goodreads giveaway in the month of August.

Different things work for me on different days. Some days, I challenge myself with a timer, set it for twenty or forty minutes, and force myself to write until it beeps. Some of my best scenes have emerged that way, and often I shut off the beeping and keep on writing. Other days, music does the trick. I have a playlist I turn to when setting the mood for particular scenes. I also find that when I read for ten to twenty minutes before I start writing, that I am more inspired and ready to write.
