hello there, i have just read all 3 books of The Nemo Chronicles, and had to relate my joy at them. I have read them over the last few days and was totally absorbed in your story's of Captain Nemo, I have been an avid admirer of the character and read other books and watched the movies. big fan. One question not noted in the books is where you envisaged Nemo would have lain the Nautilus to rest???
Lewis Crow Thank you for writing. I am so glad you enjoyed the Nemo Chronicles. I deliberately left the final resting place of the Nautilus vague. I think Nemo wanted to protect it from any "treasure seekers," either in his day or in the future. But in my mind, I always assumed it would be the area of the Marianas Trench, the deepest place on Earth, for obvious reasons.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Lewis Crow Take a break, pray, do some research, maybe do a non-writing project for a while.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Lewis Crow The freedom of imagination. I'm a director with an unlimited budget, any actor/actress I want, and a top-notch FX team...plus the power to create and destroy anything I want. ;-)

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Lewis Crow Write about what you like. We've all heard the expression "write about what you know." If I did that, I'd be writing books on Microsoft Windows or 1970s and 1980s music. If you like something, you WILL get to know about it.

How do you get inspired to write?
Lewis Crow Ideas just occur to me. I follow them and see if they lead to a dead end or a major highway.

Lewis Crow The sequel to The Nautilus Legacy, volume 2 of the Nemo Chronicles.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Lewis Crow I wanted to see the story of Captain Nemo & the Nautilus continue. So I did something about it. :-)

I challenged myself to see if I could actually make it happen within the boundaries of what Jules Verne wrote. It's easy to just create a story idea and plop a well-known character into it. I wanted to be respectful to the world Verne created and work from there.
