A life-long naval enthusiast, Lewis has been thrilled for as long as he can remember by stories true and fictional about ships and the men who crewed them.

The writing bug bit him as a child, and his first "creative efforts" were a series of two-paragraph ghost stories written on his family's typewriter. Over the years he became a fan of writers like Clive Cussler, Alastair MacLean, and of course Jules Verne, whose most famous character, Captain Nemo, he lovingly refashioned for a new generation of adventures. Being an indie author is a lot like being a one-man band. You're responsible for EVERYTHING. I've spent the last month since "A Cold and Secret Death" went on sale marketing the book. As far as my limited budget will allow, I'm leaving no stone unturned in publicizing it far and wide. Marketing is about as much fun as changing dirty diapers. It's a real chore I don't enjoy. hello there, i have just read all 3 books of The Nemo Chronicles, and had to relate my joy at them. I have read them over the last few days and was totally absorbed in your story's of Captain Nemo, I have been an avid admirer of the character and read other books and watched the movies. big fan. One question not noted in the books is where you envisaged Nemo would have lain the Nautilus to rest???

Thank you for writing. I am so glad you enjoyed the Nemo Chronicles. I deliberately left the final resting place of the Nautilus vague. I think Nemo wanted to protect it from any "treasure seekers," either in his day or in the future. But in my mind, See Full Answer
