I have just finished reading At the Loch of the Green Corrie and thoroughly enjoyed it but wondered why you referred to shinty sticks as hockey clubs as they are nothing like hockey clubs. Also just loved to hear of Iain Crichton Smith as he was my english teacher in high school. Also loved the ref. when fishing using black pennel and zulu flies, husband used them and fish won't rise if east wind, all familiar?

Andrew James Greig I was at a book festival on the Scottish island of Colonsay, and a well-respected publisher said they were desperate for tartan noir. cue a new novel...

What are you currently working on?
Andrew James Greig A tartan noir - I'll post details in the next few moths. I'm also working on an ecological thriller - and I have the next installment of Thomas the Rhymer to write. Busy busy.

Andrew James Greig Sleep on it, drive, go for a long walk or travel somewhere new. Inspiration finds you when you're not looking for it
