Racha Mourtada I find that moving around helps loosen me up (and maybe dislodge some stuck ideas?) Also, sometimes I'll cut out the last bit I wrote and paste it somewhere safe, and then I'll re-write that section and hopefully, when I get to the end, the momentum will just carry my writing along. It's sort of like rewinding a video a bit when it's buffering :)
Racha Mourtada To just sit down and write :) as obvious as that sounds! A lot of people feel intimidated and think that they need to improve their skills first or take a course or be able to write beautifully off the bat. But all you need to do is dive in and start writing, even if it is badly, which it most likely will be. That's what rewriting is for.

Also, read... a lot!
Racha Mourtada My most recent book is a collection of flash fiction, and it was pretty much inspired by anything I was listening to/reading/watching at the time because I was pushing myself to write one story a day and I had to find inspiration anywhere I could get it! Somehow, they all turned into humorously dark tales of love and loss.
