G.K. Ray I would go to Henrietta, Virginia and help Gansey, Adam, Ronan, Noah, and Blue find The Raven King.
G.K. Ray I woke up to find my coffee maker broken. Every café I then visited was out of coffee!
G.K. Ray Getting swept away into my stories and eventually sharing them with friends and Betas before I publish. Making my earliest readers day.
G.K. Ray FRACTURED SERAPH's sequel! :)
G.K. Ray It's cliche as heck, but I read. That's the best way. I love all sorts of Young Adult novels and elaborate descriptions of places that make my mind start to wander. I also watch TV and spend lots of time with my good friends. Making real life memories inspires the reality elements of any fictional world.

And sometimes, (more often than I should, perhaps), I watch writing craft videos on Youtube from some of my favorite creators and artists. Like Katytastic and Natalia Leigh and Holly Black.
G.K. Ray I was raised a Christian and grew up thinking about angels and demons. Although I no longer agree with those beliefs, they are my baseline. There is a tale in the book of Job where it says that God knows us and has a purpose for us. While I believe we shape our own paths, I thought about the possibility that maybe some people are meant to look after others. Guide and protect them. Stories of people communing with the dead, being saved from harrowing circumstances by beings of light; facing monsters that defy description. Why is it that some people can See into the spirit realm and others can't? I wondered what it would be like if we had guardian angels living among us as our friends, neighbors, even family!
