G.K. Ray graduated from Palomar College with an Associates Degree in English Literature. For many years, he tutored grade schoolers in reading and writing. Passionate about reading and the arts, he believes in finding a great story for every child and keeping music, art, and reading programs in schools.

When not writing, he enjoys YA novels, movie musicals, crime dramas, cool weather, good music, and cozy, quiet bookstores. He drinks way too much coffee. A creative with anxiety, nature soothes him, meditation centers him, and stories drive him. He lives in California with his cat-in-residence and writing supervisor, Scout.
