Eden Fortae Age 9: My neighbor's girlfriend attempted to kidnap me. She saw me separated from my friends, tried to gain my trust with lies I quickly exposed then asked me to walk up a dark street to tell her what the sign said. I knew the street name already. Some of my friends lived up there. She basically begged me to walk up the street anyway. I often wonder if I'd be alive today if she'd been successful. Was the purpose to raise me as her own? Did her boyfriend put her up to it? Why me?
Eden Fortae I'm sorry this took me so long. Thank you so much! With a little more than 30 mins left in this day, I can honestly say this is the widest I've smiled. I honestly and truly appreciate your kind review! Thank you! Being a hopeless romantic I long for romance in everything and at the same time, I love for there to be something more than that. I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed the romance and saw it throughout both books. Also, I'm glad you were happy about the lack of degradation. As a woman of color, I understand the importance of representation that's no stereotypical and it makes me extremely happy to hear that I avoided such. Amazing review. I hope you enjoy Intimacy Book Three, as well. Thank you for making my day!

Eden Fortae Intimacy uses personal parts of me, my thoughts, and others I've encountered, as well as the desire to write a character that's obviously flawed. Love isn't always pretty. Getting to a place of happiness isn't always easy. I wanted to show that so badly I couldn't think of anything else.
Eden Fortae I read, discuss book ideas with friends, reread my old unpublished stories, listen to music, and/or browse the web for pictures.
Eden Fortae A list of at least 26 books. LOL

At the moment, my focus is on books with heroines who break moral rules and spicy romance.
Eden Fortae Always write what you want. There will be people that have a lot to say and it won't always be positive. There's something to learn from the negative feedback but said feedback is not a reason to change who you are. Never stop growing as a writer. Never try to fill anyone else's shoes. As long as it's the story you want to write, you're winning.
Eden Fortae The best thing about being a writer is always having a place to retreat to when I need to get my mind off of something bothersome. It's also knowing that I can create a space for others to get lost in.
Eden Fortae When I'm hit with writer's block, I like to find a book that utilizes the trope I'm currently or will be working on soon. It reminds me of my original ideas and the excitement for that idea. If that doesn't work, I will brainstorm with friends. The questions they ask gets my mind going. I love them tremendously for it.
Eden Fortae The year is 2022. We're all stuck in the house because covid has mutated, causing the dead to walk.
