Honestly? I don't. I am the worst writer ever when it comes to coping with writer's block. I often will try to find prompts or songs or other inspiration that will allow me to push through the block, but I have sat and stared at a blank screen too many times. I have been told that it is something of a discipline; one has to train one's brain to work through the fog and accept that the writing may be dull or uninspired until there is time to return, revise, and edit.

I love every part of being a writer. Being a writer is a small, but important, part of who I am as a person. Creating is especially appealing; writing is an accomplishment in an of itself, even before publishing.

For aspiring writers, I say to never stop writing and learn everything you can. Writing not only a skill, but an art. Crafting sentences that both tell your tale, and provoke the feeling you are attempting to betray is akin to painting a picture. You can only get better if you practice.

I am currently working on a plethora of novels; at the forefront are titles such as Don't Fear the Reaper, a tale of an assassin who receives a job from a little girl; A Thousand Years, the story of a woman forced to face her own mortality while surrounded by immortals; and Last Breath, which follows a young woman on her journey to escape the country and, hopefully, the virus-induced apocalypse.

Most of the time, inspiration sporadically comes to me. However, if I have time and am trying to bring the inspiration to me, I often find that music helps.

I'm currently pretty fascinated with fairy tales, and retellings in particular. "Woods" is a story that is meant to be a retelling of Red Riding Hood. I am hoping to come out with other fairy tale retellings in the future, in addition to my original concepts.
