Jason R. Cash Driving down the road with my family, I feel thankful for the rare chance to get away. But as we cross the bridge to the beach, a blinding fireball erupts from the sky—an atomic blast racing toward us faster than we can breathe.
Jason R. Cash If I could travel anywhere, I’d step into the world of my three-part novella series Brian Crossley’s Journey. Not to any particular place—but through time itself. Since the series centers on time travel, I’ve often imagined using that power to witness key moments in American history firsthand. Being a bit of a history buff, it would be incredible to see those events unfold in real life.
But beyond history, there’s something more personal I’d change. Back in high school, I had a friend who passed away from cancer during his senior year. If I could go back, I’d travel to a point five years before his diagnosis—just to tell him to get checked early, to catch it before it spread. Some journeys wouldn’t be about discovery—they’d be about second chances.
Jason R. Cash I didn’t have any summer reads planned this year. Instead, I focused on writing and cleaning up some of my older books. I also revisited a story I had scrapped years ago—gave it a fresh look, reworked it, and finally finished it. The result is a new novella titled Final Chapter.
Jason R. Cash There’s a scene I added to my book Neighbor that was inspired by something real. I used the moment itself, but everything around it is pure fiction. I won’t spoil it here—but if you read it, you’ll probably recognize which scene it is when Paul races home.
