Contrary to popular belief, it's not just sages, adepts and chosen ones who have spiritual awakenings. It started to happen to me around 2006 at the age of 26, and is still happening.... Beforehand, I was a PhD graduate and believed only in science, matter and hard facts. Now I'm of the opinion that the material world is some sort of simulated environment created by a higher dimension (that we label 'spirit'), where we can learn, play, grow, and most importantly, make mistakes. It was this process of awakening that prompted me to write, but rather than write 'my journey' for the eleventy-millionth time, i thought i'd pay tribute to the spiritual awakening process by writing fiction and using artistic license to have a book that was authentic, true to my experiences and stand alone / unique.
