Write!
... but don't force it.
Communicate your truth.
Jot things (ideas, notes, snippets of dialogue) down on your phone, or in a notebook, as soon as you think of them.
Have a notebook beside your bed (never trust "I'll remember it tomorrow!").
Trust your gut. Stick to the story YOU want to tell.
Read.
Be curious about the process.

Difficult to say. Ideas can strike whenever. I am driven to write and I write every day, so I think that continuously stimulates my brain.
I'll elaborate on this answer when I have more to say.

Writing! :-D
I love the feeling of the keyboard beneath my fingertips ... the flow of the pen across the page of the notebook ... buying notebooks ... my notebook collection ... notebooks ... reaching people and touching them with my words ... leaving an impression ... communicating in a way I can't verbally ... communicating my truth ... expressing myself ... using my imagination ... creating ... flow ... readers.

A 'new adult' fantasy novel that's been brewing in me for years.
Ideas for children's books, written and illustrated by me.
Thinking about the second instalment of "Georgias Stemme(r)".
I've also recently finished the English version of my story, which I will soon begin editing ...

I felt compelled to tell my story - about my life with schizophrenia, being bullied, feeling lonely and different. I also wanted to 'break free' of the 'quiet girl' role; to show that I was more than 'just' quiet.
Since childhood, my biggest dream has been to become a published author and, while I never expected my first book to be based on a psychotic breakdown I had aged 17, that's what happened. (I still plan to write books about talking animals, though ;-))
