I normally separate myself from my work then come back to it. I try to write for at least one hour a day, but sometimes during that hour the story doesn't speak to me. I have the premise, but the fillers always come to me in that moment. If I don't see it I don't force it. Read a book, watch a show, or spend quality family time and come back to the keyboard when you're ready.

My advice is to get your story written. Don't stress about not thinking you have what it takes. The important thing is to get behind your keyboard and start typing it out. Let editors worry about typos and grammar. If you have a story that's in your heart don't let anything stand in your way; including yourself.
