Hello, my name is Katherine Bond and I was born in Honolulu Hawaii on the island of Oahu. My military family landed me in Norfolk, Virginia where I now call home. My love for reading started in grade school after my mother gave me money for an elementary book fair at Ocean View Elementary. Since purchasing my first book, “Where the sidewalk ends,” my love for reading grew. Throughout my life, I expanded my bookshelf from nursery rhymes to urban street lit, then finally settling on my favorite genre, paranormal romances; falling in love with my all-time favorite series, The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R.Ward. It wasn’t until I became pregnant with my son, Jeremiah, that I discovered my own story. Hi everyone, I'm KD! So, I wanted to tell you all a little about my journey from reader to writer. I started reading in elementary school. I loved being able to escape inside the pages, if even for a moment. From mystery to comedy, then street lit, I tried a variety of novels until I found what I loved - paranormal romance.
