I really haven't run into it. The worst I have had is not being motivated to write that day. To get around that, I usually force myself to write for 30 minutes and promise myself that I can go do something else after that. This usually leads me to writing for longer than the original 30 minutes, as once I get into the writing, it isn't that difficult to keep going.

Don’t keep re-writing the first few pages or chapters of your book because you feel they aren’t good enough. Just keep writing until you reach the end of the book. This way you’ll have finished a book. Now, you can go back and re-write those first pages or chapters that you weren’t happy with. You’ll also find that by getting away from those early pages, you’ll come back to them with a fresh perspective and you’ll have the whole context of the book to help you shape them as well.

I became inspired to write due to a love of reading. I can’t count how many times that I’ve had a bad day and losing myself in a good book has brightened that day considerably. I hope that my books will do this for my readers.

In the Bounty series, the books straddle the Urban Fantasy and Superhero Fantasy genres. For my latest book, A Personal Bounty (Book 3), I wanted to explore the superhero aspects of my world more as my first two books leaned more to Urban Fantasy. I also enjoyed the idea of creating multiple villains with weaker powers working together vs. a single powerful antagonist.
