I have no problems being "inspired." It's hard to ignore when dialogue and scenes keep replaying in my head. Once I write them down, I'm allowed to sleep.

A story about a girl named Fina. I don't really have a set title. It's fantasy/fiction/romance. It's along the lines of YA. I would love to have it ready to publish in early 2021.

In four years, I haven't really experienced a true writer's block. I make time for writing, and I'm exceedingly patient with my characters. When they aren't "speaking" to me, I work on other projects, reread what I've already transcribed of their stories, and wait until their voices are clear again.

Two images: I kept imagining a small town street with autumn leaves on the ground. The street was deserted, and there was a breeze rustling the leaves in the trees. The street was wet from recent rain.
The second image is from the song "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence. The back and forth and the conflicting energy from the vocalists stirred an emotion that I wanted to express in my characters' story.
