Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kelda Laing Poynot Two images: I kept imagining a small town street with autumn leaves on the ground. The street was deserted, and there was a breeze rustling the leaves in the trees. The street was wet from recent rain.
The second image is from the song "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence. The back and forth and the conflicting energy from the vocalists stirred an emotion that I wanted to express in my characters' story.
