Without giving away too much, the goal for my next book will be to expound upon the myths, songs, and magical beings alluded to in The Children of the Sun and the Moon. I'm glad my first story is here now for everyone to enjoy while I work on my second story :)

Writing is the interpretation of the mind. What you feed your mind is what will come out of your mind. But, what are you feeding your mind with?
I am a huge classics-lover because there is something quite lovely and calming about the manner in which books used to be written, and they are a wealth of inspiration! Explore the classics a little, or pick up those older books. Take some time to discover what you're passionate about and what truly fuels that passion. :) Never force yourself to write anything, but let what naturally comes to mind, what has been a treasure in your mind, that makes its way to the page.

I take a long drive and listen to music! I like to listen to a wide range of music, but composers such as Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore are my go-to's for inspiration. And when all else fails, there's always Jack Johnson and the High Kings :)
