I never knew that I was a writer... that writing was something I had all along.
So many days in younger years were spent deep in thought, deep in my own world, deep in writing. Rainy days were the most precious of all; throwing open my bedroom window during the storms to welcome all the music of it, and feel the raindrops against my bare arm, as I sat so near and wrote. Writing is the interpretation of the mind. What you feed your mind is what will come out of your mind. But, what are you feeding your mind with?
I am a huge classics-lover because there is something quite lovely and calming about the manner in which books used to be written, and they are a wealth of inspiration! Explore the classics a little, or pick up those older books. Take some time to discover what you're passionate about and what truly fuels that passion. :) Never force yourself to write anything, but let what naturally comes to mind, what has been a treasure in your mind, that makes its way to the page.(less)
