When I struggle with writer's block, I first let it be okay to just ramble and to write whatever does flow out. I may not be in the mood to pull my thoughts together cohesively, but I can always find something to write. I'm also not afraid to just walk away and return to it another day.

As an Agile coach and one who's plugged into the woes of other Agile coaches, I've learned that what many are calling Agile is not Agile. This misunderstanding leads to misapplication, which causes organizations to miss out on the true meaning and intent of Agile. There are plenty of resources to help software development and product teams to be more Agile in their development work, but the number one complaint from teams is the lack of Agile mindset and support from management. My book targets management and those trying to lead Agile transformation to help address that obstacle to true organizational agility. I believe management is the key to a successful Agile transformation, so my book and my coaching aims to address this critical stakeholder head on.
