What is this "writer's block" you speak of? Ha! I have some issues around my work, but this is never one of them. There is always something good to write. Finding time is my problem.

I read "Anne of Green Gables" so many times as a child that I would love to spend some time with her on Prince Edward Island. I think we'd be great pals. When Mark (my then boyfriend) and I visited the island 23 years ago, we were sitting on a red sand beach one afternoon and decided to get engaged. Just like that. It hold magic for me.

I read and loved Maureen Stanton's gorgeous memoir "Body Leaping Backwards: Memoir of a Delinquent Girlhood."
I reread "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coehlo for the 20th or so time because it inspires me in new ways each time.
And I read "Art and Fear" by David Bayles and Ted Orland. A must for every creative person trying to put her voice into the world.
