Awww thank you! I’m currently writing The Return of Carrington which is Book 3 in the Series. I’m hoping this book is a reader favorite. I would travel to Dallas, Texas. I would love to meet The Carrington Family. Even though they are a fictional multi-billionaire oil family, they are real to me 🤓 All of the hero’s are swoony, handsome and Southern gentleman. I absolutely adore the matriarch of this family, Ava Carrington. She is the glue that bonds these brothers and cousins together. Carrington Enterprises is owned by their family. Their great grandfather built this extremely successful oil company. I would definitely love to be part of their Sunday breakfast. It’s a tradition, where every member of the family attendeds at Carrington Ranch. The food is mouthwatering good. They have a loving family dynamic. I love writing about the heros, heroines, and each of their love stories.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to do much summer reading. I was writing my newest booking making its debut this October 29, 2019 ~ The Art of Loving (The Carrington Series Book 2). I guess you could say I've been reading that all summer. Does that count? :-) I'm really excited about it!! I'm new to amazon.com and goodreads. I made my debut this past May 2019. My first book, Is This Shoulder Taken? (The Carrington Series Book 1) was Published on May 26, 2019. I write clean contemporary romance. I like reading those type of books and so I chose to write them!! I'm a huge Jennifer Peel fan. I was talking to another new writer to me, F. P. Fontaine and she writes clean contemporary. We were agreeing that there are a lot of readers out there who enjoy clean contemporary romance. I have named it #swoonmance. We also share the sentiment that there is a lot of room for new emerging clean romance authors. So I hope you'll get a chance to become familiar with my works. My new book is available now on Pre-order on amazon.com and will be Published on 10/29/19. I hope you enjoy getting to know Sheila Summers and Brody Carrington. I love their love Story. Is This Shoulder Taken? Is my first book that I am Publishing in The Carrington Series. I’ve always been an avid reader. My friend and I used to have a book club of two :-) We would pick our book recommendations from Goodreads.
I love Clean Romance!! I became a fan of Clean Regency and Contemporary Romance. We discovered the Swoony Awards on Goodreads! That gave us endless books to choose from. Many of them are on my bookshelf on my Author Page.
I read Edenbrooke and Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson and was blown away. I was amazed that such a clean Romance, was breathtakingly beautiful without being graphic. Then I started reading Clean Contemporary books by Jennifer Peel. Trouble in Loveland was my introduction to her writing. I’ve read just about all of her books and it’s hard to pick a favorite! I knew that I too wanted to become a Clean Contemporary Writer, with that Swoon factor.
Kendell Prescott and Greyson Carrington, the heroine and hero of: Is This Shoulder Taken? were characters I had to write about. I thought of their love story a couple of years before I had the courage to share it with others. Writing is like painting words. I placed them in the backdrop of Dallas, Texas. Once I started writing, I decided that Greyson, came from a multi-billionaire oil family. I believed in this story, and still do!! It’s a Novella, so things happen at a quicker pace.

A lot of my inspiration comes from listening to music or observing life. Chapter 12 of my book was inspired from me hearing a song while I was in the dentist's chair. I couldn't wait to go home and write the plot twist that was in my head after hearing that song.
I took a stroll on our street with my daughter, one beautiful spring day and came up with a chapter for a new book I'm writing. I observed the natural setting around us. I got so much from just observing. I went home and couldn't believe how those added things made such a difference in the storytelling of that chapter.

Never give up on your dream. Write every day and write what makes you happy. Don't write what you think other people will like. Be true to yourself as an aspiring writer. Jot down thoughts in a notebook or in notes on your phone. Listen to music etc. Things that inspire you.

Being able to escape into a world of my own. Writing has been a true outlet for me. I started writing after my mom was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer and passed away 4 months later. Writing has been like breathing to me. I feel like I'm painting words. I'm thrilled that readers have been enjoying what I've written.
