I adopted Musky from my shelter on August 19th, 2018. It was our annual “Clear the Shelter” event and I was providing new pet blessings for all the animals adopted that day. I ended up in the small animal room and there was Musky; a ferret picked up by animal control that was stray. Now, I would like to emphasize that I was never a ferret person. However, after 10 minutes of playing with Musky, I knew I had found my new best friend. This is what compelled me to write this story.
