Hi, Lorraine. Thanks for reading. :) Currently, the plan is to stay in KU with my ebooks, which as you know, means I cannot publish the ebooks elsewhere. Most of my paperbacks can be purchased at other sites such as barnesandnoble.com, and---best choice imo---you can ask your local independent bookstore to order you a copy from IngramSpark. (Most should be able to do that for you.)

So stoked that you liked it! Yeah...I wrote this one during that weird time between the '24 election and inauguration. I was thinking a lot about how, as a white American woman raised on the standard propaganda, what it feels like when you figure things out, and you're like "oh, wow, I've been lied to" and then "oh, wow, I've been complicit." And like how you feel liberated and ashamed and powerless and like you're seeing things clearly for the first time in your life. It's a wild headspace to live in, but if there's hope for us at all, way more of us have to get there, I think.

Oh, sweet Bevan. :) Everyone does want a Bevan story, but I still haven't figured out who his HEA is. I have a vague idea (perhaps a human mate), but I've got a lot of holes to fill in. Send good vibes. :)

Jesse is definitely high on the list. Tenatively---very tentatively---the next several books (in no particular order) will be Kennedy/Tye, Jesse, Harper, Seth/Drona, and a short book in the After the Shut Up Ring world called The Miscommunicationship (which I'm taking a break on right now but is almost finished).

Hi, Faryal! The After the End ebooks will release to backers this October. The exact date is TBD. The audiobooks are scheduled to release in November. Hardbacks and paperbacks need to be ordered and shipped from the factory overseas to the distributor in Texas and then delivered to backers, so those won't arrive until late spring or early summer 2026. The ebooks will then release on various platforms (Amazon, Kobo, etc.) after all backers have gotten their rewards. Can't wait for y'all to read this one. It is very different than anything I've written before.

I have *intentions* for Jesse, Rory, and Bryce from Stonecut County, Harper/Knocker from Steel Bones, Lucca/Tomas/Sara from Underboss Insurrection, and Kennedy/Tye, Leith/Tandie, Seth/Drona, Nia/Pritchard, Rowan/Liam, Bevan/?, and Amir/? from Five Packs. I also get ideas constantly, and the way my brain works, I can't write a story if I don't know what happens, and I wish I could, but can't *make* that happen...

I'm so happy that you loved it! Abertha will get a story, but it'll probably be at the very end of the series. I'm keeping mum about the details (because I don't know them yet, lol). The human hunters were dealt a blow in Lone Wolf, but have yet to be dealt with completely. That'll come in a future book. I do have a story in mind for Kennedy and Tye. I am so stoked that you liked it! I just finished writing a *secret group project* that we'll be announcing next month (although it won't release for a while). I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to write next. I usually start the story speaking stongest and see if I get traction. If you subscribe to my newsletter on www.catecwells.com, you can get updates when I decide what I'm writing and then how I'm struggling, lol. Also cat pics. Thanks for reading. (I do love writing a psychopath, too, although I seem to be in my golden retriever era.)
