I am working on the developmental edits for The Call of Fire, which launches in December, and then I'll ship the book off to the copyeditor.
August 1st, I'll be starting on book 2 in the Natura Elementals series and writing a prequel novella about the heroine in book 2.

I was sitting in the "How to Speak Klingon" panel at San Diego Comic Con in 2012 and decided "I'm going to write a supernatural mafia paranormal romance series." Once I returned to San Diego, I realized I knew how to write (I wrote ALL THE TIME for my day job), writing a book was a whole 'nother thang.
At the time, the news headlines were about the one-percenters, and I thought "why do the same families control everything for centuries?" The answer was easy: they control the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. They're Elementals and Witches and Wizards. Of course, they control everything, and they govern their secret existence with mafia-style rule, and they're the children of Mother Nature, and they behave BADLY.
