I'm currently polishing up Legend of the Sword Bearer, while also working on another comic series; a paranormal suspense/action comic that I'll be revealing soon.

The villains were inspired partly by world mythology. The gods and goddesses of Northern European myths were often cruel and vindictive, and I wanted to put that on full display. I also drew inspiration from an alarming modern trend I see, which is a growing disrespect for life, and the public's seeming willingness to give themselves over to a totalitarian leader.

I don't. Most writers try to power through it or something. I've tried that. It usually doesn't work. I typically just wait for an idea to come to me, and then I write it down. Sometimes the idea is crap and I end up throwing it away and trying something else. But I'll go for days, sometimes weeks without writing anything because I don't have anything worth writing.

I think it was a combination of Marvel's Thor and Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain. I always liked quest stories.
