I'm putting the finishing touches to 'The Smell of a Storm', a short novel due out next month, and available now for pre-order. But I'm also sketching out ideas for a couple more stories, one a second chance romance, and one which may turn out a little darker than the others.

Being able to lose yourself in your own world. While the 'real' world doesn't always do what you want it to, you can create one that will. And even better, is when other people get wrapped up in your writing and lose themselves in the world you created too.

I've learned not to try too hard. I'm a total daydreamer, so I'll start writing down a daydream I've been getting lost in, and before I know it the characters have taken on a life of their own and the story evolves.
