Hazel Clarke The reason why I wanted to become one was that I always wanted to have something to read. And (rather arrogantly) I do frequently go back and re-read my work.
Hazel Clarke Did you hear the news? Seventeen have officially disbanded.
Hazel Clarke Honestly, at this point, I just get on with it. I've been writing since I was 3 years old, so it's just second nature to me.
Hazel Clarke My second novel! It should be coming out October 2020!
Hazel Clarke One of the modules I did on my creative writing degree was called Fantastic Worlds, and it was all about fantasy and science-fiction world-building, and the assignments were to write an essay about our world, and then a chapter or short story set there. With fan fiction, it's already there for you, and I think it can really help to develop you as a writer.
Hazel Clarke The worst answer ever: I sit and stare at it until I come up with something.
Hazel Clarke The world from Lockwood and Co. by Jonathan Stroud! And I would probably go to London and attempt to join Lockwood and Co. even though I'd probably be the worst ghost hunter in the world.
