9 times out of 10 I'm writing without much of a plan as to what is going to happen...so I say this A LOT. I'll write something and come back to it later like "Was I asleep when I wrote this, or..". But I just chip away at parts I don't like, or add in bits to make the parts that I don't like fit better. It's a lot of trial and error!

I watch movies, or read some old favorite books. I find if (while doing either of these things) I see something, even something as small as a gesture someone makes, or a facial expression, or a witty comeback - it gets my creative juices flowing and I'm able to squeeze another scene or two from that small encounter. That usually creates a domino effect and I'm able to branch off from that.

I think the best part is being able to turn my daydreaming into a fun, new world that I get to share with other people.

Just do it. Write. Jot things down, play with words, put the time in. It's totally worth it.

I am simultaneously working on books 2 and 3. Book 2 because I need to get that finished ASAP, and book 3 because I'm SO in love with how it's coming along, that I want to just roll with that excitement.

Music really inspires me the most. I can listen to a song, and create almost like a music video in my mind for it, using characters I've created. That's where most of my inspiration actually comes from.
