Do you ever write something then think, "Wow, I hate that!"? What does your editing process look like when you find a problem?

J.D. Fondry 9 times out of 10 I'm writing without much of a plan as to what is going to happen...so I say this A LOT. I'll write something and come back to it later like "Was I asleep when I wrote this, or..". But I just chip away at parts I don't like, or add in bits to make the parts that I don't like fit better. It's a lot of trial and error!
