I actually explain it in the Prologue of Taverick's Tavern! That's not just part of the story, it actually happened that way (though much less poetically, haha). I was sort of in and out of sleep when "Taverick's Tavern" popped into my head, followed by a flood of details!

Hey! That's a good question and I'm not sure I know the answer because I'm pretty new to this authoring thing. So far, something has to inspire me, I need a muse. For this series, God just sort of flooded me with the idea during a time in my life when I really needed some sort of outlet. I guess you could say I'm a reluctant pantser with chronic imposter syndrome.
