Hi! It is a self-published book, so it’s mostly on Amazon if you’re international. If you’d like, I’d greatly appreciate if you could request the book from your local library! I’m also hoping to get it into bookstores in the US but it’s difficult for indie authors, sadly.

First, the best way is to find out what works best for you like day or night-time writing, in a study space/cafe or at home, then figure out a schedule and a routine to implement. For me, I discovered I was most productive writing at night after studies and work! My biggest distraction was my phone, so I used this Forest app that locks up my social media apps, so finding out your weaknesses and finding ways to be more productive will go a long way. Thanks so much for your question! I try to battle writer's block by organizing my thoughts and writing something I want to write. It could be not related to my current project or a small, random scene in the book, but as long as I'm writing, that spark eventually returns.
I've definitely faced fears that my writing wasn't great. I was so scared to share any work with anyone, but I eventually opened my circle and accepted feedback. Going anonymous first also helps if you're not ready to share publicly. Working in advertising also helped me to adapt to constructive criticism. I also get over the feeling that I'm not writing for anyone in particular; I'm writing for myself. If I love what I'm doing, then that's really the most important factor :)

I design. I like making book covers for fun, which will inspire me to get back to the story because book covers need to be in the front of books, and books won't appear if I don't write!

I was in a Creative Writing class and knew I had to write something that would make me stand out. I was also homesick, being so far away from home, that I wrote House of Koi reminiscing about home, food, friends, and high school.
