Several readers wanted to know more about Romanian mythology. Despite the popularity of vampires brought by Bram Stoker's Dracula, the Romanian folklore has way more to offer in terms of the supernatural, so I thought why not bring those myths to life.

The best thing about being a writer is the opportunity to live a thousand lives through my characters and delve into experiences beyond the boundaries of my existence. Writing lets me explore new worlds and experiences without the risks of real life.

Whenever I'm stuck writing a scene I apply the 5Ws (Who, What, Why, Where and When). Every scene should move the story along, otherwise it's unnecessary. As long as I established the 5Ws I'm no longer stuck. Finally, remember that writer's block is a common experience for many writers, and it's okay to take your time and be patient with yourself. Don't give up on your writing, and keep trying different techniques until you find what works for you.

My advice for aspiring writers is to read widely and write as much as possible. Reading will expose you to different styles, techniques, and genres, while writing will help you develop your own voice and hone your skills. Don't be afraid to write badly at first; the important thing is to keep practicing and learning from your mistakes. And remember, writing is a process, so be patient and persistent in your craft. I'm working on a new urban fantasy story focused on Romanian mythology and traditions set in the same world as Chimera Trilogy but with new characters. The working title is The Devil You know

I've always made up stories in my head but didn't necessarily feel the need to share them with others. My first (public) writing attempt was Until We Meet Again, a fanfiction story for Blood Ties (the Canadian Tv-Show). It's still available on my blog. The show got canceled, and they wrapped up the story badly, which prompted me to write a different ending. I received such positive reinforcement for my writing that I decided to give it a shot, and I never looked back.
