Ryan Krol The mystery in my life that could be a plot for a book would be watching my mother slowly die of cancer for 15 years, and refusing to believe there is no cure. From there, I would take the book to a whole other level of mystery, with science fiction, suspense, cover-ups, etc. Why not? It was one of those life experiences that can shape a writer.
Ryan Krol Thank you, Jane. Same to you.
Ryan Krol Hi Jane. Thank you for adding my book to your list. As far as a sequel to Syndrome, there could be. I've been looking into making my own series, such as Jack Ryan. The team in Syndrome could possibly be one that I explore. So it may not necessarily be sequels, but different adventures of myth-chasing scientists.
Ryan Krol Going down the list, my reaction didn't really change after writing the book. I wasn't surprised by what I heard and what had come to fruition in the novel. I would say that the one reaction that was different, and stood out, was my response to being told the stories. I think being a fan of Unsolved Mysteries and the X-Files growing up, I was excited to hear a real life story. I did dig deeper when I was visiting family in the area the book takes place in. After hearing the first story, I asked other family members and friends. I didn't plan on a sequel to this story, but rather a possible series centering around the investigative team, like a sort of Ghostbusters novel series, or a sci-fi Jack Ryan, something of that nature. Although, the fate of Tomlin would either mean I'd have to either back track with prequels, or replace him. I was more than grateful and included the sources in my acknowledgements. The stories not only gave clarity to my sci-fi roots, but I think they also added credibility to the storyteller. At this point, I hope that readers find the story as much fun as I had writing it.
Ryan Krol Outline the crap out of it!
Ryan Krol I’ll put on a movie soundtrack. Sometimes just coming home from a hectic day at work gets me inspired because I know I can just escape.
Ryan Krol I was visiting family in Nevada. They told me some bizarre stories about seeing weird things, such as mysterious lights, and being chased away from the mountains by the military. They would even military operations on top of the nearby mountains, which were maybe only 1,000 feet up from the valley floor, which is about 4,500 feet above sea level. So after hearing all of this, I got on my computer and the rest is now a published book called Syndrome.
Ryan Krol I am currently working on my second book, which will be a novella due in July.
Ryan Krol I never get writer’s block. And if I feel it coming, I go back to the outline.
Ryan Krol In the words of William Wallace: “Freedom!”
Ryan Krol The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker

The Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy
Ryan Krol Middle Earth, and I’d be an elf who is bad ass with a bow.
Ryan Krol Donald Trump
